The Shirlton Business Center at the corner of Luna and A. Bonifacio Streets in Sabang, Lipa City was inaugurated on February 2, 2008.  Officiating priest was Rev. Fr. Mandanas, Parish Priest Lipa City.

The building was named after Dr. Shirley Reyes Garcia MD and Eng'r Tony Garcia, parents of the building owners: Eng'r Jeoffrey R. Garcia, Eng'r Michael R. Garcia, Dr. Angela G. Delos Santos MD, Linus R. Garcia, Nenette G. Cruz and Natalie G. Legaspi.

Families and friends of the Garcia's graced the affair with their presence and support.  Guests from Lipa and Manila were ushered to a sumptuous meryenda cena at the Acela Hills Village in the beautiful grounds and home lent by Tita Nlda Kison and her son Arch. Doy Kison.  Servings of good food and great ambiance personally prepared by the building administrator, Eng'r Michael R. Garcia complimented the guests that afternoon.  Present in the celebrations were their cousins: Ms. Helen Lontok Moreno (sister of Lipa's very own Criselda Lontok) and husband Boy, Yolly Reyes Bosita and her brother Romero Reyes of Sabang, Edgardo Altamirano (of the famous Hansel Restaurant), Tita Nilda Kison and son Doy of Acela Hills Village, Tita Loleng Cabal (an old time caterer of Lipa), Jun Cabal (of LipaCityOnline.com), Dr. Lloyd Delos Santos MD (of Northern Caloocan Hospital)  and other distinguished friends and guest. 
The building design and name was conceptualized by Eunice Palma-Garcia (UST Architecture).
